<p>2. If you are losing muscle it is as your body has got into starvation mode and is actually started to consume itself!!</p>
<p>3. Losing water is often something that happens at the start of the diet especially if you are suffering from any sort of water retentivity. This is just likely to have such a dramatic effect in the first week of your diet and would eventually settle down.</p>
<p>4. Week 2 may not be so easy. You may start to feel hunger pangs or even food cravings.</p>
<p>5. The body goes into starvation mode thinking that it isn&#8217;t going to get enough food and so the metabolism slows down to counterbalance and the chances of you being able to drop off weight becomes more difficult.</p>
<p>6. Very soon after the first 7 -14 days you are likely to plateau. Your body needs time to adjust to the dramatic changes it is experiencing and you may even experience a small fat gain. This is often the time when people give up. They haven&#8217;t extended to lose weight and they think their diet isn&#8217;t working. They are plausibly right!</p>
<p>7. If you experience any form of dramatic weight loss it is extremel likely when you resume normal eating, to find that the fat goes back on just as rapidly and Many people even check that they are now heavier than they were when they began.</p>
<p>8. Fat loss is a more precise science than most people realize. The body needs the appropriate nutrients to alter over the fat into lean muscle, without these nutrients the body, would, as mentioned above, go into starvation mode and sustained weight loss would be very .</p>
<p>9. Exercise is a vital part of any fat loss regime, especially if you are to maintain that weight loss.</p>
<p>10. Many people think they just need to do more exercise to lose weight and begin jogging or visiting the gym and doing hours on a tread mill or cross trainer. Again it is more complex than that.|11.	Any exercise plan needs to be tailored to your needs. You need to ensure which  if you wish to lose weight and drop off body fat that you are doing the correct muscle building exercises for which  to be possible.</p>
<p>12. I have heard it said by some health gurus that it is 70% nutrition and 30% exercise. I have even heard others say that it is 90 % nutrition and 10% exercise. <p>How to choose from exercises: The only effective method of how to bulk up fast is to employ free weights or your bodyweight as resistance. Do away with all kinds of machine exercises as they are ineffective in providing rigorous exercise to your joints and muscles. Choose exercises that make you lift really heavy weights.</p>
<p>How many sets to perform per workout: Less is more for the skinny beginner. 12 to 16 sets are all you should perform per workout to really gain muscle. There are many advantages of low volume training over high volume training, like better recovery from workouts, no soreness after exercise, no overtraining, faster muscle growth during recovery time, etc.</p>
<p>How many sets to perform per exercise: Beginners and skinny guys are prescribed 3 to 5 sets per exercise. As you advance and start gaining some muscle and get used to the training program, 1 to 3 sets per exercise is enough.</p>
<p>How many reps to perform per set: Most muscle building programs promote the 8-12 rep range but it is a much generalized range that doesn&#8217;t help skinny people grow any muscle at all. Use much heavier weights and get into the 5-8 rep range to stimulate muscle growth. Hypertrophy happens only with heavy stress that is not very repetitive.</p>
<p>How much rep speed: Slow is not the way to go, especially for hard-gainers. Speed up lifting and control lowering of weights. Lift in less than a second and lower in about 2 seconds. Slow and deliberate motion is not for skinny guys wanting to put on muscle mass.</p>
<p>How much to rest between sets: Depending on the intensity of the exercise, take a rest of a minute to a minute and a half between sets. Advanced exercisers need much more rest &#8211; from 2 to 4 minutes. You will need more and more rest as you build more muscle and gain weight.</p>
<p>How long to work out in each session: Always work out for a short session of 30-45 minutes. The release of anabolic hormones peaks at around 30 minutes and halts at around 45 minutes. Thereafter the catabolic hormones like cortisol take over and eat away muscle tissue.</p>

<p>Mount Snow is a mountain and ski area in southern Vermont located in the Green Mountains. It has 26 lifts and more than 135 trails; the top elevation at Mount Snow is 3600 ft (1,100m) with a vertical drop of 1700 ft (520m) there are 26 chair lifts.</p>
<p>This Vermont skiing resort is more than simply a winter destination for skiers and riders, Mount Snow is a place for people to rejuvenate and enjoy the great out of doorways with no regard for what the season. N the winter Mount Snow is a family favourite vacation spot with noteworthy children programs including kid care for those 6 weeks and up and there are skiing / snowboarding programs for kids as young as three years old. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Being a Wii Fit user I thought that I&#8217;d share my thoughts on the convenience this device gives you in order to get your 30 minutes of exercise a day.  You may think that this video &#8220;game&#8221; is for the young, but trust me, you&#8217;ll get a good workout.</p>
<p>The Yoga section of the Wii Fit is great for stretching and getting ready for the more aerobic exercises.  You can do just the yoga section if you choose.  There are many different poses to choose from and the more you do it, the more poses open up for you.</p>
<p>Oh, Aerobics!  Who really wants to go to a gym with all the younger, thinner women around and start jumping and dancing?  Not me for sure.  I love the convenience of being able to hula hoop, run and dance my way around my own living room without feeling self conscious.  I can get 30 minutes of exercise in a day without going anywhere.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t know about you, but lifting weights is really not my thing so I&#8217;m so glad that there&#8217;s a Strength section on the Wii Fit.  Building muscle without hurting myself is a giant plus for me.  Strength as we age is important because not only our arms and legs get stronger, our heart does too.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t know about you but my balance is somewhat off since I started getting more mature (a much nicer way to say older).  Falling is a serious issue as we age because our bones become more brittle and break much easier.  Doing the Balance section on Wii Fit you can regain some control without taking any chances of injury.  They offer a variety that everyone will enjoy.</p>
<p>Knowing what your &#8220;real&#8221; body age is an important part of keeping your body fit.  This is the age your body is feeling not your actual age.  With the Wii Fit body test measuring your BMI (body mass index) and your weight along with your age and a couple of tests,  don&#8217;t worry these are very easy, your &#8220;real&#8221; body age is calculated for you.</p>
<p>As an added bonus, after you choose which exercises are your favorites, you can store them in a Favorites file.  How convenient to be able to go back to these exercises without going through the whole menu.  Wii did it right when they came up with this &#8220;game&#8221;.  I can hardly wait to try out the new Wii Fit Plus with activities for seniors.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Is lifting weights necessary to increase my vertical leap? Many people have asked me this question in the past. Not everyone out there enjoys going to the gym to lift weights and they would like to know if they are able to improve their vertical leap without them. Well the answer to that question is&#8230;&#8230;.YES you can definitely improve your vertical jump without using weights!</p>
<p>I love vertical jump training and I want everyone to be able to benefit from it. There are many of us out there that cannot afford the dues or do not have access to a gym. Don&#8217;t let that stop you from training. Below I have included a vertical jump workout that will increase your strength using a variety of body weight exercises that are very challenging.</p>
<p><b>( How To Increase Your Vertical Leap Without Weights &#8211; A Perfect Workout )</b></p>
<p>Low Peterson Step-Up &#8211; The Peterson Step-up begins with one foot on a low platform. Lift the heel of the foot on top of the platform and position the toes so they are just behind the heel of the opposite leg that is on the ground. Now lift the toes of the foot you&#8217;re standing on, as this will increase the emphasis on the working leg. From this start position straighten the leg on top of the platform while lowering the heel. Use a slow 3 second lift phase and 2 second lowering. Increase the height of the step for more difficulty. Do 2 sets of 25 with each leg.</p>
<p><b>Bodyweight Squats </b>- Squats are BY FAR the best overall exercise you can do to improve your vertical leap. They target every muscle group that we are looking for. When squatting make sure you come parallel to the ground. If you want to increase the difficulty, try one-legged squats&#8230;.very difficult <img src='http://www.teachmehub.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><b>Lunges</b> &#8211; Lunges are a very common exercise and they are effective as well. Step forward with one leg while lowering your body. Try not to take too large of a step, you should have about 2 1/2 feet between your front foot and back foot. Keep your shin perpendicular to the ground and do not let your knee pass in front of your toes. Push yourself back up and repeat this with the other leg.</p>
<p>Rim Touches &#8211; This one is very easy. Find a basketball rim and jump as high as you can taking no more than a one step jump. EXPLODE up as hard as you can. Do this 5 times. Then rest for a minute or so. Repeat this exercise 3 times. DO NOT perform more reps or a bunch of sets. This will defeat our purpose. We want to train our VERTICAL JUMP EXPLOSION. Doing a bunch of reps and sets will train our stamina and not our ultimate height.</p>
<p>It is possible to get significant gains in your vertical jump without weights. BUT&#8230;..yes there is a but, most people are not going to even come close to their true vertical jump potential without using a proper weight training program. If you only train using body weight exercises there will come a time when your vertical leap gains stop and the only way to further your progress is to improve your base strength.</p>

<p>The quads, hamstrings, and lower back are the three major muscle groups that are involved when a person jumps. Contrary to popular belief the calves do not play a major role in the jumping motion. If you don&#8217;t believe me you can try out this quick test to prove it to yourself.</p>
<p>Stand up and keep your feet flat on the ground without bending your knees. Now try to jump up as high as you can. So what type of result did you get? I&#8217;m guessing you didn&#8217;t break any vertical jump records. This is because you are using only your calves when you don&#8217;t have any knee bend. Now repeat this test but this time take a deep knee bend. Are you finished? You should have jumped much higher this time because you are incorporating your major muscle groups.</p>
<p>In reality the quads, hamstrings and lower back are responsible for about 80% of your leaping power. So it would make sense to base the majority of our training on these muscle groups. Here are a few exercises that I recommend&#8230;</p>
<p>Weighted Squats &#8211; Weighted squats with really heavy weight is the best overall exercise that I can recommend for you if you want to increase your vertical leap. You should not be able to do more than eight reps so make sure you are lifting heavy enough. If you step back and look at the squat motion you can see that it closely resembles the jumping motion. Squats are the perfect exercise and they hit all the muscle groups we need.</p>
<p>Sprints &#8211; Sprints are great because you don&#8217;t have to go to a gym to do them. If you run a few sets of the 50 and 100 yard dashes you will increase your speed, build your leg muscles, and improve your vertical leap. Also, if you would like a greater challenge you can mix it up and do some hill sprints.</p>
<p>Jumping rope &#8211; Getting proficient at jumping rope will improve your reflexes and cardiovascular system. Once you have mastered the rope, add ankle weights to increase the difficulty.</p>
<p>Box Jumps &#8211; Box jumps are a basic exercise and can do wonders for your vertical jump. Jump onto a tall box or bench. Jump off and as soon as your feet touch the ground, jump again and EXPLODE back up as high as you can.</p>
<p>Heel and Toe touches &#8211; Another exercise where a gym is not necessary. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart. Jump as high as you can and bring your heels toward your butt. While in the air, touch your toes. Land, jump again, and then your heels. You can also try to mix it up a little by trying to touch your toes and then your heels in one motion before you land. This makes it a bit more difficult.</p>
<p>A person&#8217;s jumping form should be one of the first places to look if you want an immediate increase in your vertical jump. You can gain anywhere from 2-4 inches just by making some simple changes to your jumping technique. I know from experience because I personally had to change my form.</p>
